     She moved to Colorado with her parents before 1885. She appeared on the 1885 State Census of El Paso Co., Colorado, in the household of her parents.5
     Grace married Earnest Britton, son of Dr. John Bacon Britton and Elizabeth Blackmore, on 16 Nov 1898 in El Paso Co., Colorado, with Rev. Benjamin Brewster officiating.11,12
     Grace and Earnest settled in El Paso Co. after their marriage. They appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Colorado Springs, El Paso Co., Colorado, at 18 Wahsatch, enumerated 25 Jun 1900, reporting they were renting their home. Their son Harry was listed as living with them.14
