     Albert Willis Cobb was born on 11 Feb 1891 in Shawneetown, Illinois.8,9,10
     His father died on 16 Jul 1895, when Albert was 4 years old.20,21,22 He appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, in the household of his mother, Sarah Martha McElevey.7 He appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Cincinnati, Ohio in the household of his mother.23
     He was a bookkeeper for an iron and coke company in 1910.24
     Albert married first Emily Margaret Stegermeyer, daughter of Edward Frederick Stegermeyer and Caroline Rosina Dick, on 9 Jul 1912 in Hamilton Co., Ohio.11,12,13
     Albert registered for the draft for World War I on 5 Jun 1917, while living at Winchester, Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, reporting he was employed as a salesman for Rogers & McCall, a real estate company in Cincinnati.2
     Albert and Emily appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, at 1641 Winchester Ave., enumerated 15 Jan 1920, reporting they owned their home, which was mortgaged. Their children Willis and Marjory were listed as living with them, as was his mother, Sarah Martha McElevey.25
     He was an office manager for a carbon company by 1920. By 1930 he had become a building contractor.26,27

     Albert and Emily appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, at 2218 Salvador, enumerated 20 Apr 1940, reporting that they owned a home valued at $7,000, and had lived in the same house in 1935. Their children Edward and Randall were listed as living with them.29
     By 1940 he was a manager at a building and loan company. That year he reported that he had worked 50 hours the last week of March and had worked 52 weeks the prior year, earning $3,000.29 He registered for the draft for World War II on 25 Apr 1942, while living at 2218 Salvador St., Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, reporting he was employed by Antonia Saving & Loan Co in Cincinnati.30
     His wife died on 13 Dec 1979 in Cincinnati, Ohio.31
     Albert married second Caroline Mary Boller, daughter of Martin Boller and Caroline Hulzmann, on 13 Sep 1980 in Hamilton Co., Ohio.14,15,16
