     Caleb Clark Cobb was born on 3 May 1889 in Shawneetown, Illinois.8,9,10
     He was known to family by his middle name, Clark.18,19
     His father died on 16 Jul 1895, when Caleb was 6 years old.20,21,22 He appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, in the household of his mother, Sarah Martha McElevey.5 He appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Cincinnati, Ohio in the household of his mother.23
     Caleb married Ethel Grace Jackson, daughter of Pannel A. Jackson and Katherine E. Boyer, on 18 Jun 1913 in Hamilton Co., Ohio.11,12,13
     He was a clerk for Pennsylvania Railroad by 1910.24 He registered for the draft for World War I on 5 Jun 1917, while living at 3825 Eastern Ave., Cincinnati, Ohio, reporting he was employed as chief clerk for the Pennsylvania Railroad.1
     Caleb and Ethel appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, at 3825 Eastern Ave., enumerated 5 Jan 1920, reporting that they rented their home, apparently one of seven units in the building. Her mother, Katherine E. Boyer, was listed as living with them.25
     He was a bookkeeper for a coal company by 1920. In 1930 he was a traffic man for a railroad.26,27
     Caleb and Ethel were divorced before 1930, apparently, as she is listed as divorced in the 1930 census, living in their former apartment with her mother, while he is living with his brother, listed as married.14,15
     Caleb appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, in the household of, his brother Albert and his wife.28
     He has not been found in the 1940 census, though it appears he was still in the greater Cincinnati area. He registered for the draft for World War II on 27 Apr 1942, while living at 31 E. Orchard Rd., Covington, Kentucky, reporting he was employed by Covington Typewriter & Sales, in Covington.2
     Caleb had moved to Florida by 1955, when he was working as a salesman for Allen Hardware, and living at 106 N. Ridgewood Ave., in Port Orange.29
     Caleb died on 12 Mar 1957 in Port Orange, Volusia Co., Florida, at age 67.16,17
