     Lester M. Aucker was born on 25 May 1905 in Lewisburg, Union Co., Pennsylvania.6,7,8
     He appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Kelly Twp., Union Co., Pennsylvania, in the household of his parents, Lucian Clarence Aucker and Bertha M. Hauck.4 He appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Turbotville, Northumberland Co., Pennsylvania, in the household of his parents.13
     Lester married Frances May Simons, daughter of Bertha Mae Simons, on 16 Apr 1927 in Milton, Northumberland Co., Pennsylvania, at the parsonage of the Evangelical Church, with Rev. C. B. Snyder officiating.9,10,11
     Lester and Frances appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Milton, Northumberland Co., Pennsylvania, at 431 Queen St., enumerated 10 Apr 1930, reporting they were renting their home, for $15 per month. Betty M. Boyer, age 4, was listed as living with them, identified as a boarder.14
     Lester and Frances appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Turbut Twp., Northumberland Co., Pennsylvania, enumerated 11 Apr 1940, reporting they owned a home valued at $1,600, and that they had lived in Milton in 1935. Their three children were listed as living with them. They were apparently living on or near his parents' farm, as they are listed as the next household in the census.15
     He was a laborer, working in a silk mill in 1930. By 1940 he was an automobile mechanic. That year he reported he had worked 30 hours the last week of March, and 49 weeks the prior year, earning $799.16,17,18
     Lester died on 29 Jun 1949 in West Chillisquaque Twp., Northumberland Co., Pennsylvania, at age 44, of pneumonia.3,12 He was buried on 2 Jul 1949 in Harmony Cemetery, Milton, Pennsylvania.3
