     Lucian Clarence Aucker was born in Snyder Co., Pennsylvania, in Sep 1879 according to the 1880 census, but he later claimed on various documents a birth date of 14 Aug 1879.7,8,9
     Lucian appeared with his parents, Peter L. Aucker and Susan Paige, on the 1880 Federal Census of Perry Twp., Snyder Co., Pennsylvania, in the household of John S. Aucker and Mary [surname unknown], his grandparents.13 He appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Freeburg, Snyder Co., Pennsylvania, in the household of his parents.5
     Lucian married Bertha M. Hauck, daughter of Ammon Z. Hauck and Katherine Edinger, about 1903.10,11,12
     Lucian and Bertha appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Kelly Twp., Union Co., Pennsylvania, enumerated 3 May 1910, reporting they were renting their farm. Their children Roy, Lester and Lloyd were listed as living with them, as were her father, Mame Stahl, a 20-year-old servant, and Mariam, her year-and-a-half-old daughter.14
     Lucian registered for the draft for World War I on 12 Sep 1918, while living at Milton, Northumberland Co., Pennsylvania, reporting he was employed as a farmer.2
     Lucian and Bertha appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Turbotville, Northumberland Co., Pennsylvania, enumerated 3 Jan 1920, reporting they were renting their home. Their children Roy, Lester and Lloyd were listed as living with them, as were her father, Ammon Z. Hauck, George Hauck, age 30 and apparently a relative of hers who was listed as a farm hand, and Alfred and George Besly, boarders.15
     Lucian and Bertha appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Turbot Twp., Northumberland Co., Pennsylvania, enumerated 17 Apr 1930, reporting they owned their home. Their grandson Melvin, age 6, and her father were listed as living with them.14
     Lucian and Bertha appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Turbut Twp., Northumberland Co., Pennsylvania, enumerated 11 Apr 1940, reporting they owned a home valued at $3,300, and that they had lived in the same house in 1935. Their grandson Melvin, age 15, was listed as living with them. Their son Lester and his family were apparently living close by as they are listed as the previous household in the census record.16
     He was a farmer throughout his adult life.In 1940 he reported he had worked 100 hours the last week of March, and 52 weeks the prior year, earning $382. He reported in the 1950 census he had worked 45 hours the prior week.14,15,17,18,19,3 He registered for the draft for World War II on 27 Apr 1942, while living in Milton, Northumberland Co., Pennsylvania, reporting he was employed in farming.20
     Lucian and Bertha appeared on the 1950 Federal Census of Turbut Twp., Northumberland Co., Pennsylvania, enumerated 8 May 1950, reporting they lived on a farm.
     Lucian died on 27 Jan 1960 in Kelly Twp., Union Co., Pennsylvania, at age 80.3 He was buried on 30 Jan 1960 in Harmony Cemetery, Milton, Pennsylvania.3
