     She was probably one of the two females under age 10 listed in the household of her father, Elisha Flora, in the 1820 Federal Census of Meadsville, Halifax Co., Virginia.8
     Margarette married Isaac Stanley on 22 Jan 1835 in Halifax Co., Virginia.1,7
     She was probably the female age 20 to 30 listed in the household of her husband, Isaac Stanley, in the 1840 Federal Census of Halifax Co., Virginia.9
     Margarette and Isaac appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Halifax Co., Virginia, enumerated 15 Sep 1850. Their children Susan, Margarett, George and Ann were listed as living with them.10 He apparently died before 1860, as he does not appear with the family in 1860, and no further record of him has been found.3,11
     Margarette appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Halifax Courthouse, Halifax Co., Virginia, enumerated 2 Jul 1860, reporting no real estate but personal estate of $75. Her daughter Margarett was listed as living with her.3
     Margarette and her daughters worked as seamstresses after the death of her husband.12,13
