     William married Margarett J. Stanley, daughter of Isaac Stanley and Margarette Flora, on 8 Dec 1869 in Halifax Co., Virginia.8,9,10
     William and Margarett appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Halifax Co., Virginia, enumerated 24 Jun 1880. Their children Mary, Maggie, George and William were listed as living with them, as were his mother and her mother.3
