     Margaret Haas was born on 15 Aug 1845 in Königreich Preußen.4,5,6
     Margaret married first John Eischeid, son of Heinrich Wilhelm Eischeid and Maria Katharina Schmitt, on 26 Sep 1868 in Neunkirchen, Königreich Preußen, followed by a marriage in the Catholic Church of Neunkirchen three days later.7,8,9
     Margaret and John Eischeid applied for permission to emigrate with their infant son Henry, reporting that they were taking 800 Taler (a silver coin containing about 40% more silver than the U.S. silver dollar) from Siegkreis, Nordrhein-Westfalen, on 23 Aug 1869.13 They arrived in Baltimore, Maryland, on 11 Oct 1869, aboard the S. S. Baltimore having departed Bremen, traveling in steerage class.14,15
     Margaret and John appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Eagle Twp., Black Hawk Co., Iowa, enumerated 20 Aug 1870, living with Harry Feldood and his wife Catherine, who according so un-sourced online trees was his sister. John reported real estate valued at $1,600 and personal estate of $150. Their children Henry and Peter were listed as living with them.16
     Margaret and John appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Waterloo, Black Hawk Co., Iowa, enumerated 21 Jun 1880. Their children Henry, John, William, Mary, Frances and Margaret were listed as living with them.17
     Margaret and John appeared on the 1885 State Census of Waterloo, Black Hawk Co., Iowa, at Vine St.. Their children Henry, John, William, Mary, Frances, Margaret and Catherine were listed as living with them.18
     Margaret and John moved to Clyde, Nodaway Co., Missouri, in 1886.12
     Her husband died on 23 Jun 1890.19,20 Margaret apparently moved back to Iowa after John's death.
     Margaret appeared on the 1895 State Census of Waterloo, Black Hawk Co., Iowa. Her children William, Mary, Frances, Margaret, Catherine, Anna and Edward were listed as living with her.21
     Margaret married second Peter Harig about 1896.10,11
     Margaret and Peter appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Cedar Twp., Black Hawk Co., Iowa, enumerated 8 Jun 1900, reporting that they owned their farm. Her children Anna and Edward were listed as living with them.22
     Margaret and Peter appeared on the 1905 State Census of Washington Twp., Black Hawk Co., Iowa, reporting he owned a farm valued at $3,000 which was insured for $1,510. His children Nick and Celia, and her son Edward were listed as living with them.23,24,25,26,27
     Margaret died in 1907.12
