Narrative:

     Mary E. Farrell was born in 1848 in Wisconsin.7,8,9 She appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Fayette, Lafayette Co., Wisconsin, in the household of her parents, William D. Farrell and Susan [surname unknown].15 She appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Abingdon, Knox Co., Illinois, in the household of her parents.16 She appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Bethany, Harrison Co., Missouri, in the household of her parents.17
     Mary married John Trusler.10,11,12
     Mary and John appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Lotts Creek Twp., Ringgold Co., Iowa, enumerated 6 Jul 1880. Their children Sarah and Gertrude were listed as living with them.18
     Mary and John appeared on the 1895 State Census of Lotts Creek Twp., Ringgold Co., Iowa. Their children Sarah and Gertrude were listed as living with them.19
     Her husband died on 23 Jan 1898 in Mt. Pleasant, Henry Co., Iowa, apparently, as she is shown as a widow in the 1900 census.20,21
     Mary appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Poe Twp., Ringgold Co., Iowa, enumerated 18 Jun 1900, reporting that she owned her home. Her daughter Gertrude was listed as living with her.22
     She was a housekeeper in 1900, but involved in buying and selling land by 1910.22,23
     Mary appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Lotts Creek Twp., Ringgold Co., Iowa, enumerated 20 Apr 1910. Her daughter Gertrude was listed as living with her, as were her children Beatrice, Audry and Paul.24
     Mary died on 18 Mar 1918 in Chariton, Lucas Co., Iowa.13 She was buried in Rose Hill Cemetery, Shenandoah, Page Co., Iowa.14
