Brothers Becoming Teamsters --- Text Stolen from ReigelRidge.com !! ---

Heinrich and his brother Frederick were both teamsters by 1880, and continued until about 1890. They were both living at home. Whether they were conducting a business together or just working in the same occupation is unclear. Both were listed as laborers in the 1891 city directory.25,26
Henry and his brother Frederick bought for one dollar each adjacent parcels of land in Price Hill, Hamilton Co., Ohio, from their parents on 18 Jul 1890, parts of the 5.35 acre parcel they had purchased in 1866.27 On 3 Sep 1890 Henry and Frederick bought from their father two horses, all the harness that he had, one Joltwagon, one spring wagon, one harrow, two plows, one cultivator and all the feed that was in the barn except the cow hay, for $300.28
Henry married Louise Catharina Schroer on 22 Oct 1890 in First German Protestant Church, Price Hill, Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, by Rev. A. Hammerschmidt, with Wilhelmine Schroeer and Wilhelm Reinhardt as witnesses.11,12,13
With his brother having become a carpenter, Heinrich returned to work as a teamster by 1892. By 1903 he was clearly in business for himself, advertising in the city directory as both a coal dealer and a sand dealer. He continued to deal in coal until about 1912, but apparently also worked as a carpenter's helper. By 1913 he was listed as a salesman, continuing until about 1918.29,30,31,32
On 21 Oct 1892 Henry bought from his brother Frederick the parcel in Price Hill that he had purchased from their parents in 18 Jul 1890, for $500. His brother's parcel was adjacent to his own.33
Henry left a will dated 21 Dec 1893, naming his wife as executor and sole heir.34
Henry and Louise appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, at 915 Enright Ave., enumerated 7 Jun 1900, reporting that the family owned its home. Their daughter Norma was listed as living with them.35

Resolving Their Mother's Estate --- Text Stolen from ReigelRidge.com !! ---

Henry was issued letters of administration on 29 Dec 1904 for his mother's estate, after she had died intestate (without leaving a will.)36
On 31 Dec 1904 Henry, with his other two siblings, bought her one-fourth interest in their parents' property in Price Hill, Hamilton Co., Ohio, from their sister Wilhelmina, for $1,625.37
Henry filed the final settlement of the estate of his mother on 27 Feb 1905, reporting that after payment of all expenses, he and his three living siblings each received $53.45 in cash.38 On 4 Nov 1909 Henry and Frederick bought her now one-third interest in the property in Price Hill from Mary, for $1.39
Henry and Louise appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, at 915 Enright Ave., enumerated 19 Apr 1910, reporting that the family owned its home. Their daughter Norma was listed as living with them.40
H. F. and F. W. Wiemann's Subdivision41

Subdividing the Property --- Text Stolen from ReigelRidge.com !! ---

Having obtained control of their late father's property, Heinrich and Frederick subdivided it. They created the "H. F. and F. W. Wiemann subdivision" with Wieman Ave., which still exists, running the length of it. The original plat of the subdivision was made 24 Jan 1911. It laid out four long narrow lots on Enright Ave., north of Henry's home, and twenty 50-by-125-foot lots on Wieman Ave. On 17 Apr 1911 the city accepted the land they offered for the widening of Enright Ave. and the creation of Wieman Ave.41,42 On 18 Jan 1912 Henry bought one foot off lot 24 in the subdivision, the one adjacent to his home, from his brother, for one dollar. The filed plat shows his house was encroaching on that lot by a small amount and this transaction was apparently intended to resolve that issue.33
By 1920 Henry seems to have been working as a carpenter full time. He retired by 1930.43,44,45
Henry and Louise appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, at 915 Enright Ave., enumerated 5 Jan 1920. Their daughter Norma was listed as living with them, as was Margaret A. Doyle, an Irish nurse, listed as a roomer.46
Henry and Louise appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, at 915 Enright Ave., enumerated 4 Apr 1930, reporting that the family owned a home valued at $5,300, and owned a radio. Their daughter Norma was listed as living with them, as was Arthur Andrews, a granite cutter for a monument works, listed as a boarder.47
Henry died on 30 Sep 1939, at his home, 915 Enright Ave., Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, at age 86.14,15,16 He was cremated on 3 Oct 1939.17,18
