     1415 Alice Victoria Rogers was born in Jan 1861 in Kentucky.6,7,8
     Her mother died before 1866, when Alice was about 5 years old.16
     She appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of District 1, Lyon Co., Kentucky, in the household of her father, Darvin Rogers, and stepmother, Nancy Clark.17
     Her father died on 14 Mar 1872, when Alice was about 11 years old.18
     Alice married first Samuel Gideon Cobb, son of Thomas Jefferson Cobb and Almeda Glenn, on 21 Nov 1877 in Lyon Co., Kentucky, with Rev. E. R. Harrison officating.9,10
     Alice and Samuel appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Eddyville, Lyon Co., Kentucky, enumerated 14 Jun 1880, apparently living adjacent to his parents, as they are listed as the preceding household. Seven year old Claudie Rodgers, a niece of Alice, is listed as living with them.19
     Her husband died on 10 Feb 1882.20,21
     Alice married second James T. Daniel Murphy, son of Bruce L. Murphy and Maggie C. Brown, on 14 Jul 1887 in Kuttawa Methodist Church, Kuttawa, Lyon Co., Kentucky, with Rev. W. F. Cashman officiating.11,12
     Alice and James moved to Arkansas soon after their marriage.22 They appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Hot Springs Twp., Garland Co., Arkansas, in the household of Bruce L. Murphy and Maggie C. Brown, his parents, with their children Florance, Edith, Olive and Bruce.23
     Alice apparently died before 1906, as her husband re-married in November of that year, and no further record of her has been found.13
