     Lizzie J. McElroy was born on 23 Feb 1867 in Kentucky.7,8,9
     She appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Lyon Co., Kentucky, in the household of her parents, Francis M. McElroy and Almmay Young.14 She appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Eddyville, Lyon Co., Kentucky, in the household of her parents.5
     Lizzie married Jefferson Davis Cobb, son of Thomas Jefferson Cobb and Almeda Glenn, on 16 Nov 1884 in Lyon Co., Kentucky, at her father's home, with R. W. Morehad officiating.10,11
     Lizzie died on 19 Jan 1885 at age 17.9,12 She was buried in New Bethel Cemetery, Lyon Co., Kentucky.13
