     Louise and Gustave appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Carondelet Twp., St. Louis Co., Missouri, enumerated 19 Apr 1930, reporting that their home was rented, for $22 per month, and that the family had a radio.15
     Louise and Gustave appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Lemay Twp., St. Louis Co., Missouri, on Reaves Rd., enumerated 25 Apr 1940, reporting they owned a home valued at $3,000, and had lived in the same house in 1935. Their children Marlene and Gene were listed as living with them.16
