Gustave Henry Gapsch was born on 11 Feb 1903 in St. Louis, Missouri.7,8,9 He appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Carondelet Twp., St. Louis Co., Missouri, in the household of his parents, Moritz G. Gapsch and Johanna Pruetzel.5 He appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Affton, Missouri in the household of his parents.18Gustave married Louise Caroline Scheidt on 16 Dec 1928 in Eden Evangelical Church, Affton, St. Louis Co., Missouri.10,11,12
Gustave and Louise appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Carondelet Twp., St. Louis Co., Missouri, enumerated 19 Apr 1930, reporting that their home was rented, for $22 per month, and that the family had a radio.19
Gustave applied for a Social Security Number 4 Dec 1936, while living at Affton, Missouri, where he was employed by W. A. Rowe Floral Co., in Kirkwood, Missouri.1
