     Paulina Elizabeth Cobb was born about 1836 in Indiana.6,7,8
     She was probably the female under age 5 listed in the household of her father, Willard Burr Cobb, in the 1840 Federal Census of Decatur Co., Indiana.11
     Her father died on 6 Sep 1849, when Paulina was about 13 years old.12,13
     She appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Greensburg, Decatur Co., Indiana, in the household of her mother, Submit S. Garlinghouse.14
     Paulina married Francis C. Humphrey, son of John Humphrey and Clarissa [surname unknown], on 30 Jul 1857, with Samuel Pavy offciating.9,10
     Paulina and Francis, and their children William and John, appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Cotton Twp., Switzerland Co., Indiana, in the household of his parents.15
     Paulina and Francis appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Cotton Twp., Switzerland Co., Indiana, enumerated 11 Aug 1870, reporting no real or personal estate. Their children William, Ann, Philinda and Ida were listed as living with them.16
     Paulina and Francis appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Oil Twp., Perry Co., Indiana, enumerated 14 Jun 1880. Their children Philinda and Ida were listed as living with them.17
     No death record has been found for either Paulina or Francis. Un-sourced online trees report she died 12 Oct 1897 and he died 27 Apr 1898.
