4,5,6 He appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Brooklyn, Kings Co., New York,
G in the household of his parents,
John Eaker and
Lillian Faulkner Adams.
7 His father evidently contacted a serious disease sometime 28 Mar 1909 and was admitted to the Home for Incurables. Linah and his mother went to live with her parents.
8 Linah appeared with his mother, on the 1910 Federal Census of Manhattan, New York Co., New York,
G in the household of Richardson F. Adams and Helen Scott, her parents.
9 His father died on 29 Dec 1910, when Linah was 12 years old.
10 Linah appeared with his mother on the 1915 State Census of 242 W. 11th St., New York, New York Co., New York
G, in the household of Richardson F. Adams and Helen Scott, her parents.
11 Linah enrolled at Columbia University, in the class of 1920. He appears as a freshman in the University's 1916-17 catalog and as a sophomore in the 1917-18 issue. Later issues have not been found and it is unknown whether he completed his schooling.
12 Linah was seaman 2nd class in the U.S. Navy Reserve Forces from 24 Jul 1918 until 11 Nov 1918. He served at the Naval Reserve Training Station at Pelham Bay Park, New York

1 He appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Corona, Queens Co., New York,
G in the household of his mother, Lillian Faulkner Adams, and stepfather, Lewis A. Smalley.
13 He appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Queens Co., New York,
G in the household of his mother and step-father.
14 He was a clerk in an office in 1920, and in 1930 was working in advertising in the publishing industry.
15,16 The last record that has been found Linah is a newspaper clipping reporting that a couple from New Jersey had attended a birthday masquerade in his honor in Sep 1933. He has not been found in the 1940 census nor has a death record been found.
