     She was probably one of the two females under age 5 listed in the household of her father, George Flora, in the 1830 Federal Census of Air Twp., Bedford Co., PennsylvaniaG.10 She was probably the female age 10 to 15 listed in the household of her father in the 1830 Federal Census of Air Twp., Bedford Co., PennsylvaniaG.11
     Elizabeth married John Chesnut, son of Major George Chesnut and Elizabeth Edwards, on 30 Oct 1848 in McConnellsburg, PennsylvaniaG.7,8,9
     Elizabeth and John appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Dublin Twp., Fulton Co., PennsylvaniaG, enumerated 25 Sep 1850, reporting no real estate. Their son George was listed as living with them, as was Susan Spencer, age 12, relationship unknown. She may have been related to the Samuel Spencer family that was listed next in the record.12

Their children James, Alice, Ann, Martha, and Flora were listed as living with them.15
     Her husband died on 16 Dec 1894 in Martinsburg, West VirginiaG.16
     Elizabeth evidently moved to Maryland, where her daughter Flora and her family were living, after her husband's death.

     John was appointed postmaster of Ft. Littleton, Bedford Co., PennsylvaniaG, on 9 Apr 1846. He was replaced 5 Jun 1848, but was re-appointed 11 Jul 1848. He served until 15 Jun 1849. On 29 Jul 1853, after the area had become part of Fulton Co., he was appointed again, serving until 14 Dec.13,14
