Narrative:

Catherine Elizabeth Renollet was born on 6 Mar 1870 in Defiance, Paulding Co., OhioG.4,5,6 She appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Emerald Twp., Paulding Co., OhioG, in the household of her parents, Paul Renollet and Julia Ann Glenn.12
     She moved to KansasG with her parents about 1878.13 She appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Sterling Twp., Rice Co., Kansas G, in the household of her parents.14 She appeared on the 1885 State Census of Sterling Twp., Rice Co., KansasG, in the household of her parents.15
     Catherine moved to Willows, CaliforniaG, "as a small girl," according to her obituary. However, she appears with her parents in Kansas in 1885, at age 15, and they remained there. How she moved across the country as a teen-ager, and with whom, is unknown.2
     Catherine moved to Central Point, OregonG, in 1887.2
     Catherine married Theodore Perry Silver, son of James Silver and Sarah Dunham, on 4 Aug 1889 in Central Point, OregonG.7,8,9
     Catherine apparently returned to CaliforniaG after her marriage, as her daughter was born there in 1892. Theodore moved to Siskiyou Co.G by 1892. He registered to vote there 8 Oct 1892, in the Oak Bar precinct. Presumably Catherine and the children joined him there but there is no evidence by which we can know.16
     Catherine and Theodore moved to OregonG by 1899, when their son was born there. They appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Jackson Co., Oregon G, enumerated 26 Jun 1900, reporting they owned their home, which was mortgaged. Their children Leta and Harold, and his sons by his prior marriage, Charles and George, were listed as living with them.17
     Catherine and Theodore moved to Ashland, OregonG, in 1908.18 They appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Ashland, Jackson Co., Oregon G, at 763 B St., enumerated 25 Apr 1910, reporting they owned their home, which was mortgaged. Their children Leta, Harold, and Leland were listed as living with them, as was Leta's son, Donald Silver, age 20 months.19
     Her husband died in 1911.18,20 She was as a laundress from her home after the death of her husband.21,22
     Catherine appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Ashland, Jackson Co., Oregon, at 763 B St. G, enumerated 5 Jan 1920, reporting she owned her home, which was mortgaged. Her children Leland and Leta were listed as living with her, as was Leta's son Donald, Leta's husband, Claude E. Roach, and their children Franklin and Phoebe.23
     Catherine appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Ashland, Jackson Co., Oregon, at 763 B St. G, enumerated 3 Apr 1930, reporting she owned a home valued at $1,200, and did not own a radio. Her daughter Leta's son Donald was listed as living with her, as were Leta's children by her first marriage, Franklin, with his wife Agnes, Phoebe, and June Roach. Also listed were two boarders, Mary DeArmond, a 26-year-old waitress, and Elmer Beers, a 21-year-old laborer. Her son Leland and his wife were listed as renting an apartment in the rear of the house.24
     Catherine appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Ashland, Jackson Co., Oregon G, in the household of her son Leland and his wife, Juanita Ala Reigel. They were living at 763 B St., the same house she and her husband had owned since they moved to Ashland.25
     Catherine appeared on the 1950 Federal Census of Ashland, Jackson Co., Oregon, G in the household of her son Leland and his wife, Juanita Ala Reigel.26
     Catherine died on 10 Sep 1960 in Jackson Co., OregonG, at age 90.10,11 She was buried on 14 Sep 1960 in Mt. View CemeteryG.2

Theodore Perry Silver was born in Mar 1849 in MichiganG.4,5,6
     He appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Comstock, Kalamazoo Co., MichiganG, in the household of his parents, James Silver and Sarah Dunham.12 He appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Benton Twp., Berrien Co., MichiganG, in the household of his parents.13 He appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Benton Twp., Berrien Co., MichiganG, in the household of his parents.14
      Nothing is known about his first wife, who he apparently married before 1875.
      It appears Theodore and his first wife lived in WisconsinG for a time after their marriage, as they had a son born there.
     Theodore and his first wife moved their young family to California by 1877. He registered to vote in Colusa Co. 20 Aug 1877, living in the Stony Creek section. His brothers Daniel, Gilbert and Eugene were also there by then. He and his family have not been found in the 1880 census.15
     He moved to Willows, where he registered to vote 15 Oct 1884.16
     Theodore married second Catherine Elizabeth Renollet, daughter of Paul Renollet and Julia Ann Glenn, on 4 Aug 1889 in Central Point, OregonG.7,8,9

     Theodore died in 1911 at age ~62.10,11
