Richard Rudy was born on 21 Mar 1870 in Caseyville, Union Co., KentuckyG.4,5,6
     He appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Caseyville, Union Co., KentuckyG, in the household of his parents, James Henry Rudy and Mary Ann Savage.13 He appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Caseyville, Union Co., Kentucky, G in the household of his parents.14
     Richard moved to PaducahG on 1 May 1888.15
     His first job in PaducahG was as a runner at the Citizens Savings Bank. He later became assistant cashier, then cashier, then vice president there.15,16,17
     He began courting his future wife some forty years before they were married.18
     Richard appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Paducah, McCracken Co., Kentucky, at 232 North 7 St. G, enumerated 8 Jun 1900, in the household of his sister Fannie, her husband, Charles B. Hatfield, a teacher, and their three children. There were also three boarders listed in the household.19
     He became a director of the Southern Textile Company, the Arcadia and Claussner Hosiery Mills, and of Paducah Newspapers, Inc.15 He was chairman of the Board of Public Works from 1811 to 1914, and served for a while as president of the Family Service Society. He was president of th Paducah Park Board at the time of his death.15
     Richard appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Paducah, McCracken Co., Kentucky, at 232 North 7 St. G, enumerated 26 Apr 1910, in the household of his sister Fannie, her husband, Charles B. Hatfield, by then a manager at a machine company, and their three children. His brother Fred was also listed in the household.20
     Richard appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Paducah, McCracken Co., Kentucky, at 730 Jefferson G, enumerated 15 Jun 1920, in the household of his sister Fannie and her husband, Charles B. Hatfield, by then a traveling salesman at a drug company. His brother Fred was also listed in the household.21
     In 1920 he was named president of the bank, after the death of his predecessor.15,22,23,24
     He was credited with a substantial role in the building of the Paducah-Ohio bridge, which was dedicated 8 May 1929.15
     Richard appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Paducah, McCracken Co., Kentucky, at 730 Jefferson G, enumerated 15 Apr 1930, reporting he owned a home valued at $10,000, and did not own a radio. His widowed sister Fannie was also listed in the household.25
     Richard married Reubie Fowler Cobb, daughter of Joshua Clark Cobb and Manie Saunders, on 21 Feb 1932 in Paducah, KentuckyG, at the parsonage of the First Presbyterian Church, with Rev. F. H. Olert offciating.7,8,9
     Richard left a will dated 27 May 1933 stating he was of Paducah, KentuckyG, in which he named the Citizens Savings Bank of Paducah as his executor, and specified that no inventory of the estate should be filed. I directed the executor to sell his stock in Claussner and Arcadia Hosiery Company, his lots on West Broadway in Paducah, and his Ballard County farm to pay his debits, taxes, costs of administration, and cash bequests. He left his brother Charles $200 and cancelled a note for $5,000 Charles owed him. He left his sisters Fanny and Retta $300 each, and his niece Lillian Minnich $400. He left his brother Fred $500, his fire arms and wearing apparel, and his farm five miles west of Paducah. He left A. R. Meyers, C. M. Hand, Charles A. Gockel, William Womble, and J. D. Mocquot, in equal shares, his stock in the Citizens Savings Bank of Paducah.
     He left to his wife all diamonds he owned, and all his household and kitchen furniture, and for her lifetime the store building occupied by J. A. Rudy & sons, the gasoline filling station in Loneoak, and the income from all the bonds, stocks, and other income-bearing property he owned. At her death, the store building was to go to three of his nephews, and the filling station, stocks, bonds, and other property was to go half to his two sisters and two brothers and half to two nieces.26
     Richard died on 4 Jul 1933 at age 63, from an attack of acute hemorrhagic pancreatitis suffered on an Illinois Central Railroad train, while he was being taken to Chicago, Cook Co., IllinoisG, for treatment by specialists.10,11 He was buried in Oak Grove Cemetery Mausoleum, Paducah, McCracken Co., KentuckyG.12
     His will was probated on 7 Jul 1933 in McCracken Co., KentuckyG.26

     Norma was confirmed in the First German Protestant Church, Price Hill, Hamilton Co., OhioG, on 16 Apr 1905.2

     Wilhelmine's intended husband, Jobst Henrich Wiemann, applied for permission for them to emigrate to America, which was approved 27 Jul 1842.13
     Wilhelmine married Jobst Henrich Wiemann, son of Maximilian Friderich Wiemann and Anna Maria Margaretha Elisabeth Lüke, on 9 Aug 1842 in Johannes der Täufer Kirche, Hilter, Königreich HannoverG. They stated that they intended to live in Cincinatti.7,8,9
     Wilhelmine and Jobst arrived in BaltimoreG on 11 Oct 1842, aboard the Casper, having departed from Bremen. With them were his mother and two sisters, Anna and Louise. Also on board were several other families from Hilter, including two families named Kammann, probably her relatives.14,15
     Wilhelmine and Joseph appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Storrs Twp., Hamilton Co., OhioG, enumerated 9 Sep 1850. Their daughter Mary was listed as living with them.16
     Wilhelmine and Joseph appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Storrs Twp., Hamilton Co., OhioG, enumerated 9 Jun 1860, reporting real estate valued at $11,000 and personal estate of $500. Their children Mary, Wilhelmina, Heinrich, Frederick, George, and Mary were listed as living with them, as were two day laborers, P. Calder and Jno. Kebler.17

     Wilhelmine was named executrix and sole heir in the will of Joseph Henry Wiemann dated 20 Jun 1883.20
     Her husband died on 24 May 1891 in Cincinnati, OhioG.21,22 She was executrix of the will of Jobst Henrich Wiemann probated on 3 Jun 1891 in Hamilton Co., OhioG.23
     Wilhelmine filed the final settlement of her husband's estate on 1 Sep 1891, reporting she had found $400 in assets, and after paying all expenses was left with $103.26.24
     Wilhelmine appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, at 931 Enright Ave. G, enumerated 7 Jun 1900. Her daughter Mary was listed as living with her.25
     Wilhelmine died on 30 Oct 1904 in Cincinnati, OhioG, at age 87.10,11 She was buried in Saint Johns Cemetery, Cincinnati, OhioG.12
     Wilhelmine died intestate (without leaving a will) and letters of administration for her estate were issued on 29 Dec 1904 to Henry F. Wiemann. naming her son Henry as administrator.26 Henry filed the final settlement of the estate on 27 Feb 1905. He reported he had received from the estate $477.50. He paid the undertaker $136, and $26 in funeral and burial costs, and $24 for a tombstone. After payment of other costs, $214 was distributed to her four living children.27
