Mary Cobb was born on 24 Jan 1836 in Pawlet, Rutland Co., VermontG.4,5,6
     She was probably the female under age 5 listed in the household of her father, Joshua D. Cobb, in the 1840 Federal Census of Pawlet, Rutland Co., VermontG.14
     Her mother died on 17 Feb 1845, when Mary was 9 years old.15
     Mary moved to Wisconsin in 1846 with her father, sister Rachel, and her husband, spending their first year at Lake Geneva, G where her brother Robert had already settled.16,17,18 In 1847 they moved to Lima, Rock Co., WisconsinG.19,20,21,22 She appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Lima, Rock Co., WisconsinG, in the household of her father.23
     Mary and her father appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Lima, Rock Co., WisconsinG, in the household of her older sister Rachel and her husband, Abraham Sheldon Edgerton.24
     Mary married Henry J. Wilkinson, son of Philander Wilkinson and Elizabeth, on 8 Mar 1866 in Rock Co., WisconsinG.7,8,9
     Mary and Henry appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Lima, Rock Co., WisconsinG, enumerated 8 Jul 1870, reporting real estate valued at $10,000 and personal estate of $1,500. His mother and her sister Rachel were listed as living with them, as was Agnes Hasinger, a domestic servant.25
     Mary and Henry appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Lima, Rock Co., Wisconsin G, enumerated 23 Jun 1880. His mother and her sister Rachel were listed as living with them, as were Rudolph Haight, a farm laborer, and Adie Elphick, a domestic servant.26
      In 1883 Henry rented his farm to George McMillen and he and Mary moved to Whitewater.27,28,29 They appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Whitewater, Walworth Co., Wisconsin, on S. Prince St. G, enumerated 22 Jun 1900, reporting that they owned their home, free of mortgage. Her widowed niece, Julia Howe, daughter of her late sister Alta, was listed as living with them.30
     Mary and Henry moved to Prairie St.G in 1906.31 They appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Whitewater, Walworth Co., Wisconsin, at 100 N. Prairie St. G, enumerated 28 Apr 1910, reporting that they owned their home, free of mortgage. Her niece Julia was listed as living with them.32
     Mary died on 8 Apr 1919 at age 83.10,11 She was buried on 10 Apr 1919 in Hillside Cemetery, Whitewater, WisconsinG.12,13
