     He appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Dallas, Dallas Co., Texas, G in the household of his parents, Miles K. Thorburn and Lucy Carrington.14 He appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Dallas, Dallas Co., Texas G, in the household of his parents.15
     Robert married Greta Cobb, daughter of Maj. Robert H. Cobb and Sarah Virginia Walker, on 20 Jun 1905 in Church of the Good Shepherd, Wichita Falls, TexasG, with the Rev. Edwin Wickens of Dallas officiating.7,8,9
     Robert and Greta moved to HoustonG by 1910. They appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Houston, Harris Co., Texas, at 2914 Hamilton St. G, enumerated 15 Apr 1910, with her parents listed as living with them.16
     He was a commercial traveler (salesman) in the tobacco and cigars business in 1910, and in the brush manufacturing business by 1920, becoming president of the company.17,18,19

     Robert and Greta returned to her hometown, Wichita FallsG, by 1935. They appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Wichita Falls, Wichita Co., Texas G, in the household of her brother Percy and Greta, reporting they had all lived in the same house in 1935.22
     By 1940 he was in the fruit trucking business. That year he reported he had worked 72 hours the last week of March, and 52 weeks prior year. He was later a manager of Valley Products Company.23,24

     He appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Bell Co., TexasG, in the household of his parents, William H. Stinnett and Mary Clay Corums.12 He appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Bell Co., Texas, G in the household of his parents.13
     Albert married Cornelia Mary Cobb, daughter of Maj. Robert H. Cobb and Sarah Virginia Walker, on 31 Jan 1893 in Wichita Co., TexasG, with Rev. H. C. Shaw of the Church of the Good Shepherd officiating.7,8
     Albert and Cornelia moved to Ft. WorthG by 1900. They appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Ft. Worth, Tarrant Co., Texas G, enumerated 5 Jun 1900, reporting the family was renting it's home. Their children Felice, Daphne, and Walker were listed as living with them, as was her sister, Virginia.14
     Albert and Cornelia moved their family from Ft. Worth to Amarillo in 1905.      Albert and Cornelia appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Amarillo, Potter Co., Texas, at 1701 Jackson G, enumerated 15 Jan 1920, reporting they owned their home, free of mortgage. Their children Felice and Francis were listed as living with them, as are two servants, 29-year old Addie Berry, and 57-year old Ernest Conrad.18
     Albert and Cornelia appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Amarillo, Potter Co., Texas G, enumerated 3 Apr 1930, reporting that they owned a home valued at $40,000, and did not own a radio. Their daughter Felice was listed as living with them.19
     Albert was a broker in 1900, and after moving to AmarilloG, became the first in the area to engage in the cottonseed oil and cake business. He later operated a seed and grain distributing agency. He supported the efforts of area cattlemen and farmers to obtain lower freight rates and better rail service, successfully pressing the Interstate Commerce Commission in Washington for improvements in AmarilloG.20,21,22,23,24
     He served as industrial manager of the AmarilloG Board of City Development. He helped organize of the Panhandle-Plains Chamber of Commerce. He was elected president of the chamber in Jun 1919, at which time it represented thirty-one counties.15,24
     He sold his grain business in 1923, and spent the next two years persuading the Rock Island Railway to approve expand rail lines in the area, personally financing the first three months of construction. He and a partner, Joseph Williams, developed the new town of Stinnett, which became the county seat of Hutchinson Co. He also was active in promoting other new towns along the new rail line, a dam on the Canadian River, and highway projects.15,25
     Albert died on 5 Jan 1935, at his home, 1701 Jackson, Amarillo, Potter Co., TexasG, at age 71.9,10 He was buried on 7 Jan 1935 in Llano Cemetery, Amarillo, Potter Co., TexasG.9,11
