     She appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Limestone Twp., Lycoming Co., PennsylvaniaG, in the household of her parents, John Gann Jr. and Rachel Kauffman.1 She appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Oval, Limestone Twp., Lycoming Co., PennsylvaniaG, in the household of her parents.2
     Catharine married Albert C. Grier, son of Dr. John H. Grier and Amanda, about 1869.7,8,9
     Catharine and Albert appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Collomsville, Lycoming Co., PennsylvaniaG, enumerated 1 Aug 1870, reporting real estate valued at $450 and personal estate of $150. Their daughter Amanda was listed as living with them.11
     Catharine and Albert appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Jamestown, Lycoming Co., Pennsylvania G, enumerated 18 Jun 1880. Their children Amanda, Ella, and Emma were listed as living with them.12

Adaline Gann was born on 14 Jul 1841 in PennsylvaniaG.4,5,6
     She appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Limestone Twp., Lycoming Co., PennsylvaniaG, in the household of her parents, John Gann Jr. and Rachel Kauffman.11 She appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Oval, Limestone Twp., Lycoming Co., PennsylvaniaG, in the household of her parents.12
     Adaline married Joseph Felix, son of Peter Felix and Mary Eck, about 1865 in Lycoming Co., PennsylvaniaG.7,8,9
     Adaline was named an heir in the will of John Gann Jr., her father, dated 28 Apr 1869 in Limestone Twp., Lycoming Co., PennsylvaniaG, in which she was to receive an equal share of his estate when her youngest sibling reached age 21 or at the death of her mother. Her share was to be held in her name, free from the control of her husband.13
     Adaline and Joseph appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Collomsville, Lycoming Co., PennsylvaniaG, enumerated 29 Jul 1870. Their children Harriet, William, and John were listed as living with them, as was Alamanda Shadle, age 11, a domestic servant.14

     Albert married Catharine Gann, daughter of John Gann Jr. and Rachel Kauffman, about 1869.7,8,9
     Albert and Catharine appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Collomsville, Lycoming Co., PennsylvaniaG, enumerated 1 Aug 1870, reporting real estate valued at $450 and personal estate of $150. Their daughter Amanda was listed as living with them.13

Sarah Jane Gann was born on 8 Apr 1849 in Oval, Lycoming Co., PennsylvaniaG.4,5,6 Sarah Jane and Mary Elizabeth were twins.12
     Sarah appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Limestone Twp., Lycoming Co., PennsylvaniaG, in the household of her parents, John Gann Jr. and Rachel Kauffman.13 She appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Oval, Limestone Twp., Lycoming Co., PennsylvaniaG, in the household of her parents.14
     Her father died on 10 Jun 1869, when Sarah was 20 years old.15,16 She appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Collomsville, Lycoming Co., PennsylvaniaG, in the household of her mother.17
     Sarah married William Jefferson Pearson, son of Dr. George W. Pearson and Anna Maria Coleman, and younger brother of the husband of her twin sister Mary, about 1872.7,8,9

Narrative:

John K. Gann was born in Feb 1844 in Williamsport, PennsylvaniaG.4,5,6
     He appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Limestone Twp., Lycoming Co., PennsylvaniaG, in the household of his parents, John Gann Jr. and Rachel Kauffman.1 He appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Oval, Limestone Twp., Lycoming Co., PennsylvaniaG, in the household of his parents.12
     John married Helen M. Perry, daughter of Thomas E. Perry and Mary Elizabeth Pursel.7,8,9
     John and Helen appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Williamsport, Lycoming Co., PennsylvaniaG, enumerated 6 Jul 1870, reporting real estate valued at $600. Their children Frank and Jenella were listed as living with them.13
     He was a laborer in 1870. By 1880 he was an agent for the Wheeler & Wilson Sewing Machine Co., which may have been the reason the family moved to Virginia.14 He and Helen moved to Norfolk, VirginiaG, between 1875 and 1880. They appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Norfolk, Virginia G, enumerated 7 Jun 1880. Their children Grace and Rachel were listed as living with them.15
     His wife died on 19 Jan 1892.16,17
     John appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Norfolk, Virginia G, at 26 Shields St., enumerated 11 Jun 1900, reporting he owned his home, free of mortgage. His children Jenella, Rachel and Grace were listed as living with him, as was Nellie's husband, Erich Borjes.18
     John appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Limestone Twp., Lycoming Co., Pennsylvania G, in the household of Mary Catherine Gann and James Henry Van Dyke, his cousin and her husband.19
     John died on 11 Apr 1911 at age 67.11 He was buried in Oval Cemetery, Oval, Lycoming Co., PennsylvaniaG.10

Mary Elizabeth Gann was born on 8 Apr 1849 in Oval, Lycoming Co., PennsylvaniaG.4,5,6 Mary Elizabeth and Sarah Jane were twins.12
     Mary appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Limestone Twp., Lycoming Co., PennsylvaniaG, in the household of her parents, John Gann Jr. and Rachel Kauffman.13 She appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Oval, Limestone Twp., Lycoming Co., PennsylvaniaG, in the household of her parents.14
     Her father died on 10 Jun 1869, when Mary was 20 years old.15,16 She appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Collomsville, Lycoming Co., PennsylvaniaG, in the household of her mother.17
     Mary married George Washington Pearson Jr., son of Dr. George W. Pearson and Anna Maria Coleman, and older brother of the husband of her twin sister Sarah, about 1872.7,8,9
     Mary and George appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Limestone Twp., Lycoming Co., Pennsylvania G, enumerated 11 Jun 1880. Their children George and William were listed as living with them, as was George Rader, age 19, a servant.18
     Mary and George appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Limestone Twp., Lycoming Co., Pennsylvania G, enumerated 7 Jun 1900, reporting that they owned their farm, free of mortgage. Their children George, John, and Mary were listed as living with them.19
     Mary and George appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Limestone Twp., Lycoming Co., Pennsylvania, at Oval Hill Rd. G, enumerated 28 Apr 1910, reporting that they owned their farm, free of mortgage. Their children John and Mary were listed as living with them.20
     Mary died on 2 Nov 1914 in Limestone Twp., Lycoming Co., PennsylvaniaG, at age 65.10,11 She was buried on 5 Nov 1914 in Oval CemeteryG.10
