Joseph Felix was born on 17 Jun 1840 in Lycoming Co., PennsylvaniaG.4,5,6 Joseph appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Limestone Twp., Lycoming Co., PennsylvaniaG, enumerated 23 Aug 1850, in the household of Joseph Eck, his maternal grandfather.16
     Joseph married first Adaline Gann, daughter of John Gann Jr. and Rachel Kauffman, about 1865 in Lycoming Co., PennsylvaniaG.7,8,9
     Joseph and Adaline appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Collomsville, Lycoming Co., PennsylvaniaG, enumerated 29 Jul 1870. Their children Harriet, William, and John were listed as living with them, as was Alamanda Shadle, age 11, a domestic servant.2
     Joseph and Adaline appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Clinton Twp., Lycoming Co., Pennsylvania G, enumerated 7 Jun 1880. Their children Harriet, William, John, Henry, Simon, and Adeline were listed as living with them.17
     His wife died on 19 Dec 1893.18,19
     Joseph appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Clinton Twp., Lycoming Co., Pennsylvania G, in the household of Harriet and Jerry M. Herring, his eldest daughter and her husband.20
     Joseph married second Susan Maria Bryington, daughter of James Bryington and Eliza Leteer.10,11,12
     He was a farmer. By 1900 he was an engineer operating portable equipment, and he was a laborer at the time of his death.21,22,23,24
     Joseph died on 28 Feb 1910 in Clinton Twp., Lycoming Co., PennsylvaniaG, at age 69.3,13 He was buried on 3 Mar 1910 in Colomsville Cemetery, Limestone Twp., Lycoming Co., PennsylvaniaG.14,15
