George Washington Pearson Jr. was born on 7 May 1844 in York, PennsylvaniaG.4,5,6
     He appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Middlecreek Twp., Union Co., PennsylvaniaG, in the household of his parents, Dr. George W. Pearson and Anna Maria Coleman.10 He appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Limestone Twp., Lycoming Co., PennsylvaniaG, in the household of his parents.11 He appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Limestone Twp., Lycoming Co., PennsylvaniaG, in the household of his parents.12
     George married Mary Elizabeth Gann, daughter of John Gann Jr. and Rachel Kauffman, and twin sister of the wife of his younger brother William, about 1872.7,8,9
     George and Mary appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Limestone Twp., Lycoming Co., Pennsylvania G, enumerated 11 Jun 1880. Their children George and William were listed as living with them, as was George Rader, age 19, a servant.13
     George and Mary appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Limestone Twp., Lycoming Co., Pennsylvania G, enumerated 7 Jun 1900, reporting that they owned their farm, free of mortgage. Their children George, John, and Mary were listed as living with them.14
     George and Mary appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Limestone Twp., Lycoming Co., Pennsylvania, at Oval Hill Rd. G, enumerated 28 Apr 1910, reporting that they owned their farm, free of mortgage. Their children John and Mary were listed as living with them.3
