Narrative:

Milton Mooberry was born on 28 Apr 1858 in IllinoisG.4,5,6 He appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Groveland Twp., Tazewell Co., IllinoisG, in the household of his parents, Samuel R. Mooberry and Louisa C. Hughes.3 He appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Hilton, Tazewell Co., IllinoisG, in the household of his parents.11 He appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Fon du Lac, Tazewell Co., Ohio G, in the household of his parents.12
     Milton married Lydia R. Mooberry, his second cousin, daughter of Samuel R. Mooberry and Clara A. McClallen, on 27 Mar 1890 in Tazewell Co., IllinoisG.7,8,9
     Milton and Lydia appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Groveland Twp., Tazewell Co., Illinois G, enumerated 21 Jun 1900, reporting they rented their farm. Their children Irene, Harry, and Thornton were listed as living with them, Apparently his cousin Louis Grant Mooberry and his family lived close by, as they are listed preceding in the census record.13
     Milton and Lydia appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Groveland Twp., Tazewell Co., Illinois, at Bloomington Rd. G, enumerated 18 Apr 1910, reporting they owned their farm, mortgage free. Their children Harry and Thornton were listed as living with them.14
     Milton and Lydia appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Groveland Twp., Tazewell Co., Illinois, at Morton Rd. G, enumerated 6 Jan 1920, reporting they rented their home. Their son Thornton was listed as living with them. Apparently their son Harry and his wife lived nearby, as they are listed as the second household following.15
     He was a farmer.13,14,15 Milton retired and he and Lydia moved to PeoriaG before 1925.16,17 They appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Peoria, Peoria Co., Illinois G, at 115 North Elmwood Ave., enumerated 9 Apr 1930, reporting they owned a home valued at $10,000, and owned a radio. Fields Mooberry, age 18, a nephew, was listed as living with them, as was Fern Johnson, a servant.18
     Milton died on 24 May 1930 at age 72.4 He was buried in Mooberry Cemetery, Tazewell Co., IllinoisG, next to his wife.10

     She appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Groveland Twp., Tazewell Co., Illinois, G in the household of her parents, Samuel R. Mooberry and Clara A. McClallen.11
     Lydia married Milton Mooberry, her second cousin, son of Samuel R. Mooberry and Louisa C. Hughes, on 27 Mar 1890 in Tazewell Co., IllinoisG.7,8,9

     Lydia appeared on the 1950 Federal Census of Peoria, Peoria Co., Illinois, enumerated 15 Apr 1950, listed as a lodger at Proctor Hospital, at 415 Second St. G.20
     Lydia died on 21 Mar 1955 at age 83.4 She was buried in Mooberry Cemetery, Tazewell Co., IllinoisG, next to her husband.10
