     She was a dictaphone operator at a fence manufacturing company by 1950, reporting in the 1950 census she had worked 44 hours the prior week.16

     Shirley married first Edward Louis Oetzel Jr, son of Edward Louis Oetzel and Mayme Louise Mooberry, on 23 Sep 1950 in Washington, IllinoisG. He had previously been married to Freda Schmidgall.7

     He appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Morton, Tazewell Co., Illinois, G in the household of his parents, Edward Louis Oetzel and Mayme Louise Mooberry.13 He appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Morton, Tazewell Co., Illinois, G in the household of his parents.14
     He was a laborer in a canning factory in 1940. That year he reported working 40 hours the last week of March, and 26 weeks the prior year, earning $350.14
     Lloyd was drafted as a private in the U.S. Army, entering the service 5 Aug 1942, in Peoria, IllinoisG.15
     Lloyd married Dorothy J. Crumrine, daughter of George W. Crumrine and Esther M. Augsburger, on 9 Feb 1949 in Morton, IllinoisG.7,8,6
     He was a plastering contractor by 1950, reporting in the 1950 census he had worked 48 hours the prior week.16
