     She appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Clarksville, Montgomery Co., Tennessee, in the household of her parents, Ben F. Gill and Mary Yancy.4 She appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Clarksville, Montgomery Co., Tennessee, in the household of her parents.5
     Louise married first Julien Francis Gracey Jr., son of Julien Frank Gracey and Minnie Irene Thomas, on 10 Nov 1914 in Clarksville, Montgomery Co., Tennessee, with Rev. E. J. Barnett officating.12,13,14
     Louise and Julien appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Clarksville, Montgomery Co., Tennessee, at 409 Greenwood Ave., enumerated 7 Jan 1920, reporting that they rented their home, which was part of a two-family dwelling.14
     Louise filed for divorce from Julien on 9 Apr 1926, in Montgomery Co., Tennessee, on the grounds that he "failed, refused, and neglected to provide" for her. On May 13 she amended her complaint to request her maiden name be restored, which was granted. The court approved the divorce six days later, on 15 Apr 1926.15,16
