Homer Thomas Frazier was born on 8 Jun 1911 in Nashville, Tennessee.9,10,11He appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Nashville, Davidson Co., Tennessee, in the household of his parents, Ellis Warren Frazier and Mary Cynthia Price.4 He appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Nashville, Davidson Co., Tennessee, in the household of his parents.18
Homer married Emilou Fenker, daughter of Howard Wieman Fenker and Irma Aurelia Sander, on 21 Dec 1934 in Wightman Chapel, Scarritt College, Nashville, Tennessee.12,13,14
Homer and Emilou were living at 939 Inverness Ave. by 1935.19 By 1944 they living at 1207 Elmwood Ave.20
He was a driver by 1933, and a clerk at Ralston Purina Co. by 1935.21 He was a salesman for a bottling company by 1940, when he reported he had worked 72 hours the last week of March, and 52 weeks the prior year, earning $950 by 1940.22
Homer and Emilou appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Nashville, Davidson Co., Tennessee, at 3027 Brightwood, enumerated 3 Apr 1940, reporting they rented their home, for $20 per month, and that they had lived in the same city in 1935. Their daughter Cynthia was listed as living with them.23
Homer registered for the draft for World War II on 16 Oct 1940, while living at 2804 Brightwood Ave., Nashville, Davidson Co., Tennessee, reporting he was employed by National Life and Accident Insurance Co.2 He worked as a salesman for the National Life Insurance Co. until he joined the Army.24,25,26

Homer was drafted into the U.S. Army, reporting at Camp Shelby, Mississippi, 12 Apr 1944 as a private.27,28 He served in the Signal Service battalion in New Delhi, India.29
He was dropped behind enemy lines to radio positions to allied forces. According to family lore, on one occasion he was dropped into the jungle into Japanese sniper fire, so he and a companion jumped behind a log. A cobra there struck the companion, who died within minutes.17 Homer was discharged 15 Mar 1946.30
While Homer was away during the War, Emilou and their daughters moved to her parents' home at 1920 20th Ave. South. When he returned he joined them there.31

Homer returned to the insurance business after the War, but by 1949 was manager of the American Veterans Club. By 1950 he was a salesman for Palmer-Hooper Motors, a Lincoln/Mercury dealer, reporting in the 1950 census he had worked 60 hours the prior week. He was an insurance agent again by the next year.32,33
Homer and Emilou and their children moved by 1949 to 3507 Belmont Blvd. with her parents.34,35 They appeared on the 1950 Federal Census of Nashville, Davidson Co., Tennessee, in the household of Howard Wieman Fenker and Irma Aurelia Sander, her parents, with their three children|.36
By 1958 he was a salesman for American Linen Supply Co., and living at 2103 Magnolia Rd.37 He was the business manager of the American Legion clubhouse in downtown Nashville when it was raided by police 8 Sep 1962. They confiscated six gaming machines and five cases of whisky, and arrested Homer, the bartender, and four persons in attendance.38
He was business manager of the American Legion post in Joelton, Tennessee, when he was arrested 9 Jan 1965 for carrying a pistol and possession of three slot machines. He was fined $50 for the pistol charge, which he said he had because he was alone at night at the club with the proceeds. A $50 fine for possession of illegal gambling equipment was suspended. He told the court they are at the post when he took over as business manager and had not been used for "some time."39 He was employed by the Hermitage Hotel by 1968.40
He was admitted to the Veterans Hospital, Murfreesboro, Tennessee, about 1973, where he remained for the rest of his life.41,42
Homer died on 4 Jun 1982 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, at age 70.15,16,11 He was buried in Nashville, Davidson Co., Tennessee.17
