     Ellis Warren Frazier was born on 14 Mar 1880 in Maury Co., Tennessee.8,9,10 His name was listed as John on the 1800 census, but on no other record that has been found. Whether that was actually his name initially and it was later changed, or that was simply an error by the enumerator, is unknown.13
     He appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Maury Co., Tennessee, in the household of his parents, Looney S. Frazier and Maggie E. Peyton.4 He appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Civil, Maury Co., Tennessee, in the household of his parents.5
     Ellis married Mary Cynthia Price, daughter of James E. Price and Sallie E. Green, on 25 Dec 1901 in Maury Co., Tennessee, with J. A. Sanders, justice of the peace, offciating.11,12
     Ellis and Mary appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Nashville, Davidson Co., Tennessee, at 1004 Cheatham St., enumerated 26 Apr 1910, reporting that they rented their home. Their children Gordon and Virginia were listed as living with them.14
     He was a switchman on a railroad, reporting in 1940 he had worked 48 hours the last week of March, and 52 weeks the prior year, earning $2,100.15,16,17,18 He registered for the draft for World War I on 12 Sep 1918, while living at 575 Mulberry, Nashville, Davidson Co., Tennessee, reporting he was employed as a railway switchman at the Nashville Terminal on Broad St.2
     Ellis and Mary appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Nashville, Davidson Co., Tennessee, at 412 Ash St., enumerated 13 Jan 1920, reporting that they rented their home. Their children Gordon, Virginia, Homer and Irene were listed as living with them.19
     Ellis and Mary appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Nashville, Davidson Co., Tennessee, at 1103 Cherry Ave., enumerated 14 Apr 1930, reporting that they rented their home for $35 per month. Their children Homer and Irene were listed as living with them, as were their son Gordon's wife Elsie and their daughter Urzella.20
     Ellis and Mary appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Nashville, Davidson Co., Tennessee, at 2118 Elliott Ave., enumerated 3 Apr 1940, reporting they rented their home, for $30 per month, and that they had lived in same city in 1935. Their granddaughter Urzella was listed as living with them.21
     Ellis died on 11 Feb 1956 in Nashville, Davidson Co., Tennessee, at age 75.3 He was buried on 13 Feb 1956 in Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Nashville, Tennessee.3
