     She appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Germanville, Livingston Co., Illinois, in the household of her parents, William Henry Grosenbach and Laura Angelina Glabe.4
     She moved to McHenry Co. with her parents by 1930. She appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Marengo, McHenry Co., Illinois, in the household of her parents.5
     She was working as a domestic in Peoria by 1932, when she was living at 343 Callender Ave..19
     By the next year she had become a live-in maid to Jay B. Case, secretary-treasurer for the wholesale and retail drug firm Sutliff & Case Co., and his wife Kathryn. They lived at 419 Moss Ave.20
     Helen appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Peoria, Peoria Co., Illinois, at 419 Moss Ave., enumerated 10 Apr 1940, listed as a maid in the household of Jay B. Case.
