     LeRoy William Grosenbach was born on 2 Jul 1910 in Germanville, Livingston Co., Illinois.10,11,12,13
     He appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Germanville, Livingston Co., Illinois, in the household of his parents, William Henry Grosenbach and Laura Angelina Glabe.4
     He moved to McHenry Co. with his parents by 1930. He appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Marengo, McHenry Co., Illinois, in the household of his parents.5
     He was a salesman at a gas station at age 19.20
     LeRoy married Helen Minerva George, daughter of LeMont Ward George and Winifred Lydia York, on 25 Dec 1932 in Elgin, Illinois.14,15,16
     LeRoy and Helen moved to Tazewell Co. about 1934. They appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Washington, Tazewell Co., Illinois, enumerated 16 Apr 1940, reporting they owned a home valued at $600, and that they had lived in Marengo, McHenry Co., in 1935. Their two children were listed as living with them. They were apparently living near his parents, as they were listed as the next household.21
     He was a mechanic at a Caterpillar Tractor manufacturing plant by 1940. That year he reported he had work 40 hours the last week of March, and 52 weeks the prior year, earning $1,300.21 He registered for the draft for World War II on 19 Oct 1940, while living at Washington, Tazewell Co., Illinois, reporting he was employed by Caterpillar Tractor Company, in East Peoria.1
     LeRoy and Helen moved to California about 1941. By 1947 they were living at 2130 Casitas Ave., Altadena.22 He was a diesel mechanic at a construction company by 1950.23,24,25,26
     LeRoy and Helen appeared on the 1950 Federal Census of Altadena Twp., Los Angeles Co., California, at 2130 Vermont, enumerated 8 Apr 1950, reporting they lived in a home that was not on a farm. Their five living children were listed as living with them.27
     LeRoy and Helen moved to 1933 Maiden Lane by 1962.28
     LeRoy and Helen moved to Arroyo Grande in 1972, where they lived at 601 Del Sol St..29,30
     LeRoy died on 2 Jan 1999 in Arroyo Grande, California, at age 88, at his home.17,18 He was buried in Hillcrest Memory Gardens, Morton, Tazewell Co., Illinois.19
