     1521 Ruth Katherine Glabe was born on 27 Jan 1898 in Chatsworth, Illinois.9,10,11 Ruth and her sister Rachel were twins.
     Ruth appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Germanville Twp., Livingston Co., Illinois, in the household of her parents, Sebastian Glabe and Anna Katherine Ruppel.4 She appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Germanville Twp., Livingston Co., Illinois, in the household of her parents.22
     Ruth married first Bert Raymond Munsell, son of John Lee Munsell and Ada Isaacs, on 5 Sep 1923 in Chatsworth, Livingston Co., Illinois, with Rev. George Woodley officiating.12,13,14
     Ruth and Bert moved to California about 1928. They appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Monrovia, Los Angeles Co., California, at 119 East Lime Ave., enumerated 9 Apr 1930, reporting that they were renting their home, for $20 per month, and did not own a radio. Their children Ruby and Shirley were listed as living with them.23
     Ruth and Bert appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Monrovia, Los Angeles Co., California, at 872 West Walnut Ave., enumerated 23 Apr 1940, reporting they owned a home valued at $2,500, and had lived in the same house in 1935. Their three children were listed as living with them.24
     Ruth and Bert were divorced in 1940.15,16
     After her divorce she worked as a window shade maker at a window shade company, reporting in the 1950 census she had worked 40 hours the prior week.25
     Ruth appeared on the 1950 Federal Census of Monrovia, Los Angeles Co., California, at 872 W. Walnut, enumerated 3 Apr 1950, reporting she lived in a home that was not on a farm. Her two younger children were listed as living with her.26
     Ruth married second William Presscott Attkisson, son of Robert G. Attkinsson and Mary C. Ham, on 27 May 1950 in 872 Walnut Ave., Monrovia, Los Angeles Co., California, with Rev. P. A. MacDiarmid, Baptist minister, officiating. He was the widower of Cecil M. McBride. He had previously been married to Eleanor Sarah Shaw.17
     After their marriage, Ruth and William lived in her home in Monrovia.27 They moved to 511 East Olive Ave, in Monrovia, by 1955, where they lived until her death.28
     Ruth died on 10 Apr 1967 in Pasadena, Los Angeles Co., California, at age 69.18,19 She was buried in Rose Hills Memorial Park, Whittier, Los Angeles Co., California, next to her second husband.20
