     Anna Belle Barr was born on 31 Dec 1885 in Larned, Kansas.11,12,13
     She moved to Indiana with her parents in 1899.38 She appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Springfield Twp., Franklin Co., Indiana, in the household of her parents, George W. Barr and Mary Elizabeth Brackney.7
     Anna married first Harry Clifford Updike, son of Charles Updike and Hattie Shaw, on 29 Dec 1903 in Franklin Co., Indiana, with Rev. George Cochran officiating.14,15
     Anna and Harry and their daughter moved to Ohio before 1910. They appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Ross Twp., Butler Co., Ohio, enumerated 2 May 1910, reporting they owned their farm, which was mortgaged. Their daughter Ethel was listed as living with them.39
     Anna returned to Kansas by 1915 with her daughter, and was working as a domestic.40 Anna appeared on the 1915 State Census of Larned, Pawnee Co., Kansas, in the same dwelling as her parents and two of her brothers, but listed as a separate household, suggesting she was in a separate part of the dwelling. Her daughter Ethel was listed as living with her, as was her younger brother Charlie. He future husband, Jacob T. Dirks, was apparently living nearby as his was the preceding dwelling.41
     Anna married second Jacob T. Dirks in Aug 1916 in Great Bend, Barton Co., Kansas. He had previously been married to Helena M. Weber.16,17,18
     Anna and Jacob appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Larned Twp., Pawnee Co., Kansas, at 1701 Broadway, enumerated 2 Jan 1920, reporting they owned their home, which was mortgaged. Her daughter by her prior marriage, Ethel, was listed as living with them.42
     Jacob filed suit for divorce from Anna in Jul 1923 in district court in Pawnee Co., Kansas, charging cruelty and neglect. They apparently reconciled, as that suit was dismissed in November.43,44
     Anna and Jacob moved to California by 1927, when they were living at 900 Cedar, Berkeley.45
     Anna was granted a divorce, on grounds of desertion, from Jacob in Oct 1928 in Alameda Co., California.19,20
     Anna married third Henry Reisbeck, son of Louis Reisbeck and Margaret Honstein, on 31 Jan 1930 in Oakland, Alameda Co., California, with Edward J. Tyrrell, justice of the peace, officiating. He was the widower of Louise Urbach.21,22
     Anna and Henry appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of El Cerrito, Contra Costa Co., California, at 1561 Union St., enumerated 8 Apr 1930, reporting they owned a home valued at $2,000, and owned a radio. His sons by his prior marriage, Harold, Victor, and Edward, were listed as living with them.46
     Henry filed suit for divorce from Anna 22 Oct 1930, in superior court, Martinez, Contra Costa Co., California. He charged she stuck him with a screen door, injuring him and hurting his feeling, and had no love for him and had nagged. He stated they had married in 1928 and separated 7 Jul 1930.47 The divorce was granted on 5 Nov 1930.23
     Anna married fourth Lester Dow Banks, son of Samuel A. Banks and Ida E. Corbett, on 9 Dec 1933 in San Rafael, California. He was the widower of Ruth E. Bevins.24,25,26
     Anna and Lester were apparently divorced by 1935, as he remarried in November of that year. No record of the divorce has been found.27
     Anna married fifth Michael Edward Wallace, son of Anthony Wallace and Mary M. Avery, on 8 Feb 1938 in Oakland, Alameda Co., California. He had previously been married to Lillian Cahill.28,29,30
     Anna and Michael appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Berkeley, Alameda Co., California, at 1605 63rd St., enumerated 1940, reporting they were renting their home, for $18 per month, and that they had lived in Oakland, Alameda Co., California in 1935.48
     Anna and Michael appeared on the 1950 Federal Census of Oakland, Alameda Co., California, at 1443 Sunshine Ct., enumerated 12 Apr 1950, reporting they lived in a home that was not on a farm.49
     Michael died on 31 Mar 1956 in Alameda Co., California.50
     Anna married sixth Fred Adam Glabe, son of John Glabe and Elizabeth Ruppel, on 24 Apr 1957 in Oakland, Alameda Co., California.31,32,33
     Fred died on 15 Jan 1974 in Alameda Co., California.51,52
     Anna died on 21 Sep 1975 in Alameda Co., California, at age 89.34,35,36 She was cremated and her remains were interred at the Mountain View Cemetery, Oakland, Alameda Co., California.37
