     Hilda Sjoerdsma was born on 14 Feb 1902 in 125th St. and Stewart Ave., Chicago, Illinois.7,8,9
     Her mother died on 4 Mar 1903, when Hilda was 1 year old.15 Hilda appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Morgan Park, Cook Co., Illinois, in the household of her father, George Sjoerdsma, and stepmother, Amanda [surname unknown].5 She appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois, in the household of her father and stepmother.16
     Hilda married Charles Elmer Arthur Glabe, son of Jacob Glabe and Emma Amelia Goller, in Chicago, Cook Co., Illinois, apparently on 3 Apr 1923, although a second record exists showing the date as 18 Jan 1922.10,11
     Hilda and Charles and their two daughters, Patricia and Judith, moved to Arizona in 1934.17 Hilda and Charles appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Lake Bluff, Maricopa Co., Arizona, enumerated 18 Apr 1940, reporting that they rented their home, for $24 per month, and that they had lived in the same town in 1935. Their three children were listed as living with them.18
     By 1947 they had moved to Phoenix, where they were living on N. 32nd St.19
     Hilda and Charles moved to Chico, California, for a time around 1950.20,21
     Hilda and Charles appeared on the 1950 Federal Census of Chico, Butte Co., California, at 2030 Park Ave., enumerated 10 Apr 1950, reporting they lived in a home that was not on a farm.22
     Hilda and Charles returned to Arizona by 1954.
     Her husband died on 30 Jun 1974 in Wickenburg, Maricopa Co., Arizona.23,24
     Hilda died on 11 Feb 1987 in Wickenburg, Maricopa Co., Arizona, at age 84.12,13 She was buried in Wickenburg Cemetery, Wickenburg, Maricopa Co., Arizona.14
