     Herman Wiebell was born on 8 May 1845 in Hesse-Darmstadt.4,5,6
     Herman immigrated in 1862 according to one record, and in 1868 according to another. Details of his immigration have not been found. He was naturalized before 1900.16,17
     Herman married first Margaretha Zumstein, daughter of Peter Zumstein and Juliana Loehlem, on 12 Oct 1869 in Hamilton Co., Ohio, with Rev. August Kroell officiating.7,8,9
     Herman and Margaretha appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, enumerated 10 Jun 1870, in the household of C. F. Brune, a baker, and his wife and two children. They and another young baker listed in the household appear to have been boarders.18
     Herman appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, at 864 Vine Sheet, enumerated 2 Jun 1880.19
     His wife died on 15 Sep 1898.20
     Herman married second Dena Wiemann, daughter of Johann Henrich Wiemann and Wilhelmina Maria Rolfinck, on 12 Jan 1899 in Hamilton Co., Ohio, with Rev. Hugo G. Eisenlohr officiating. She was the widow of Harry L. Sunderbruch.10,11,12
     Herman and Dena appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, at 3150 Jefferson Ave., enumerated 5 Jun 1900, reporting they rented their home. His children by his prior marriage, Mary, Louisa, Ida and Herman, and her children by her prior marriage, August and Harry, were listed as living with them.21
     He was a cutter, and later a designer and tailor. He retired by 1910.22,23,24,25,26
     Herman and Dena appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, at 3150 Jefferson Ave., enumerated 18 Apr 1910, reporting they owned their home, free of mortgage. Her eight-year-old granddaughter, Norma Sunderbruck, daughter of her son August, as listed as living with them.27
     Herman died on 25 Oct 1916, at his home, 3150 Jefferson Ave., Cincinnati, Ohio, at age 71.13,14 He was buried on 28 Oct 1916 in Walnut Hills Cemetery, Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio, in his own lot.15,14
