     William F. Wiemann was born on 14 Jun 1875 in Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio.8,9,10
     He appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Columbus, Franklin Co., Ohio, in the household of his parents, John Henry Wiemann and Ida M. Mead.6 He appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Columbus, Franklin Co., Ohio, in the household of his parents.7
     He was a day laborer in 1900, then was assocatied with the Cumberland-Turney Company of Columbus. Later he became an agent of Sloss-Sheffield and Company of Birmingham.18,19
     William moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, as secretary of the Banning-Cooper Company.19
     William appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Pittsburgh, Allegheny Co., Pennsylvania, at 5743 Holden St., enumerated 20 Apr 1910, reporting he rented his home, which he shared with two attorneys, Horace F. Baker and Park J. Alexander. Also listed in the household were Elizabeth Holmes, a housekeeper, and Ella Holmes, a servant.20
     William married Rubie Fay Sill, daughter of George H. Sill and Amanda J. Pulford, on 17 Apr 1915 in Cuyahoga Co., Ohio, with John A. Carrabine officiating.11,12,13
     He became a coal, coke, and steel broker, at some point establishing the firm of Wieman & Ward Company and acting as its president.21,22,23,24,25
     William registered for the draft for World War I on 12 Sep 1918, while living at 5737 Holden, Pittsburgh, Allegheny Co., Pennsylvania, reporting he was employed as a self-employed jobber in pig iron, steel, and coke in Pittsburgh.26
