Narrative:

     Benedick M. Hendricks was born in May 1843 in Louisiana.6,7,8
     He appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Townships 21 and 22, Bossier Co., Louisiana, in the household of his parents, William B. Hendricks and Nancy Polk.14 He appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Ward 4, Bossier Parish, Louisiana, in the household of his parents.15
     He has not been found in the 1870 or 1880, but he had apparently moved to Arkansas by the early 1880's.
     Benedick married Emma Eugeniah Crabtree, daughter of William H. Crabtree and Sophia W. Cobb, on 29 Jul 1884 in Lafayette Co., Arkansas, with J. W. Berry offciating.9,10,11
     He was working on the family farm by age 19, and was a farmer in his own right by 1900.16,17
     Benedick and Emma appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Garland, Miller Co., Arkansas, enumerated 22 Jun 1900, reporting they owned their farm, free of mortgage. Her mother was listed as living with them.3
     Benedick died before 1910.12,13
