     Richard Stevenson Campion was born on 26 Sep 1881 in Edgerton, Missouri.9,10,11
     He moved to Kansas with his parents by 1888.16 He appeared on the 1895 State Census of Leavenworth, Leavenworth Co., Kansas, in the household of his parents, John W. Campion and Anna Garret Stevenson.17
     He appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Leavenworth, Leavenworth Co., Kansas, in the household of his parents.5 He appeared on the 1905 State Census of Leavenworth, Leavenworth Co., Kansas, in the household of his parents.18
     He was a bookkeeper by 1905.19
     Richard married Nellie Garrett Keith, daughter of Joseph S. Keith and Mary E. Garrett, on 9 Sep 1908 at her parents' home, 3021 College Ave., Kansas, Jackson Co., Missouri, with Rev. George Reynolds officiating.12,13,14
