Lillian and John appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Brooklyn, Kings Co., New York, at 149 Covert St., enumerated 5 Jun 1900, reporting they were renting their home. Their son Linah was listed as living with them.17
John evidently contacted a serious injury or disease. He was admitted to the Home for Incurables 28 Mar 1909 and Lillian and their son went to live with her parents.18 She appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Manhattan, New York Co., New York, in the household of her parents, Richardson F. Cora Noble, now listed as his sister, her son Melville, and Lewis Ryan, a 50-year-old iron worker listed as a boarder were listed as living with them.24
Lillian died on 15 May 1941 in Manhattan, New York Co., New York, at age 66.16
