     Rachel Huff was born on 5 Dec 1853 in Highland Co., Ohio.3,6,7
     She appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Fairfield Twp., Highland Co., Ohio, in the household of her parents, Joseph Huff and Ruth [surname unknown]. Her future husband apparently lived in the neighborhood as his family was listed as the sixth following one in the census record.12
     Her mother died in 1866, when Rachel was about 13 years old.13
     She appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Fairfield Twp., Highland Co., Ohio, in the household of her father.14
     Rachel married Benjamin Franklin Brady, son of Barzilla Brady and Sophia Santee, on 31 Jan 1872 in Highland Co., Ohio, with Devine Caccahan officiating.8,9,10
     Rachel and Benjamin appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Paint Twp., Highland Co., Ohio, enumerated 10 Jul 1880. Their children Frederick and Mary were listed as living with them.15
     Rachel and Benjamin moved to Missouri between 1880 and 1886 apparently first moving to Carroll Co., where their son Frank was born. They appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Braymer, Caldwell Co., Missouri, enumerated 5 Jun 1900, reporting they were renting their home. Their children Joseph, Frank and Emmons were listed as living with them.16
     Rachel and Benjamin appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Braymer, Caldwell Co., Missouri, enumerated 21 Apr 1910, reporting they owned their home, free of mortgage. Their son Emmons was listed as living with them.17
     Her husband died on 2 Feb 1911.18
     Rachel appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Braymer, Caldwell Co., Missouri, enumerated 6 Jan 1920, reporting she owned a home, free of mortgage.19
     Rachel appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Braymer, Caldwell Co., Missouri, enumerated 11 Apr 1930, reporting she owned a home valued at $2,990. Her daughter Mary was listed as living with her.20
     Rachel appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Braymer, Caldwell Co., Missouri, enumerated 10 Apr 1940, reporting she was renting her home, for $15 per month. Her daughter Mary was listed as living with her, They reported they had lived in the same house in 1935.21
     Rachel died on 8 Feb 1947 at age 93.3 She was buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Braymer, Caldwell Co., Missouri.11
