     Mary Jane Eiker was born on 23 Jan 1836 in Pennsylvania.5,6,7
     Mary appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Chambersburg, Franklin Co., Pennsylvania, enumerated 9 Sep 1850, in the household of George S. Eyster, a prosperous merchant, and his family. There are six children listed, as well as Mary Myers, age 26. No occupation is listed for her or Mary Jane, but it appears they were servants.13
     She was a seamstress before her marriage.14
     She appeared on the 1860 Federal Census of Chambersburg, Franklin Co., Pennsylvania, in the household of her mother, Martha [surname unknown].14
     Mary married George Washington Flora, son of George Flora and Rebecca Simpson, before 1863.8,9,10
     Mary and George moved to Maryland about 1869 with their infant son Edward. They appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Hagerstown, Washington Co., Maryland, enumerated 27 Jun 1870, reporting no real estate, but personal estate of $400. Their son Edward was listed as living with them.15
     Mary and George appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Hagerstown, Washington Co., Maryland, on High St., enumerated 1 Jun 1880. Their children Edward and Carrie were listed as living with them.16
     Mary died on 25 Mar 1883 at age 47.11 She was buried in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.12
