     She appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Hagerstown, Washington Co., Maryland, in the household of her parents, George Washington Flora and Mary Jane Eiker.4
     Her mother died on 25 Mar 1883, when Carrie was 11 years old.15
     She moved to Winchester, Virginia, with her father, presumably before 1889 when he married his second wife there.
     Carrie married Charles W. Fries, son of George Casper Fries and Susannah Elizabeth Moling, on 20 Oct 1898 in Winchester, Virginia.10,11,12
