     13 Sarah A. Eskey was born in Aug 1857 in Pennsylvania.5,6,7 She appeared on the 1870 Federal Census of Whitehall Twp., Lehigh Co., Pennsylvania, in the household of her father, John Eskey. While the family apparently lived in Pennsylvania in 1860, they have not been found in the 1860 census.4
     Sarah married John J. Devereaux, son of Richard Devereaux and Mary Furlough, about 1874.8,9,10
     Sarah and John appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Whitehall Twp., Lehigh Co., Pennsylvania, enumerated 1 Jun 1880. Their children William, John and Nicholas were listed as living with them.14
     Sarah and John appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Whitehall Twp., Lehigh Co., Pennsylvania, enumerated 2 Jun 1900, reporting that they owned their home, free of mortgage. Their children John, Nicholas, William, Edward, Sarah, Anastacia, Margret, Mary and Thomas were listed as living with them.15
     Sarah and John appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of East Hokendauqua, Lehigh Co., Pennsylvania, at Quarry St., enumerated 19 Apr 1910, reporting that they owned their home, free of mortgage. Their children Sarah, Anastacia, Margret, Mary, Thomas and Lawrence were listed as living with them.16
     Sarah died before 1920.11,12
