     Lloyd Emerson Neuffer was born on 31 Mar 1919 in Smithville, Ohio.7,8,9
     He appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Green Twp., Wayne Co., Ohio, in the household of his parents, Eugene A. Neuffer and Anna Bell Blough.4
     His mother died on 21 Dec 1928, when Lloyd was 9 years old.14,15
     He appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Green Twp., Wayne Co., Ohio, in the household of his father.5
     When he was about 19 Lloyd was jailed in Wooster for stealing gasoline. About a year later, in Apr 1939, he and his cousin Homer Neuffer were arrested again on similar charges, this time the victim was Menno Kauffman of Smithville.16
     Lloyd appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Smithville, Wayne Co., Ohio, on Prospect Ave., enumerated 12 Apr 1940, lodging in the home of Alice Stevens, age 75, with his cousin 21-year-old Homer. Both reported they had lived in rural Wayne Co. in 1935, and both were working at a lumber yard.17
     He was a laborer for a lumber yard in 1940, when he reported he had worked 45 hours the last week of March and 16 weeks the prior year, earning $190.3,18 He registered for the draft for World War II on 16 Oct 1940, while living at 42 N. State, Rittman, Smithville Co., Ohio, reporting he was employed by Gilbert Lumber Co.2
     Lloyd married Louise Mary Morris, daughter of LeRoy Morris and Zenie Daugherty, on 26 Oct 1940 in Smithville, Medina Co., Ohio, with Rev. A. L. Kriner officiating, after have obtained the consent of her mother and father since she was a minor.3,10
     Lloyd was drafted as a private in the U.S. Army, entering the service 13 Mar 1941, in Cleveland, Ohio.19,20
     Lloyd and Louise appeared on the 1950 Federal Census of Chippewa, Wayne Co., Ohio, on County Line Rd., enumerated 28 Apr 1950, reporting they lived in a home that was not on a farm, but on over three acres. Their two children were listed as living with them.21
     He was an Oliver operator at a salt factory, reporting in the 1950 census he had worked 40 hours the prior week.22
     Lloyd died on 22 Jul 1974 in Wadsworth, Medina Co., Ohio, at age 55.11,12 He was buried in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Seville, Medina Co., Ohio.13
