     Liva L. McKeel was born on 1 Nov 1898 in Ceasetown, Pennsylvania.6,7,8 She appeared on the 1900 Federal Census of Plymouth Twp., Luzerne Co., Pennsylvania, in the household of her parents, Samuel McKeel and Dorah Culver.4 She appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Hanover Twp., Luzerne Co., Pennsylvania, in the household of her parents.16
     Liva married Bruce Clark Welch, son of George H. Welch and Mary C. Rood.9
     Liva and Bruce appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Salem Twp., Luzerne Co., Pennsylvania, enumerated 13 Jan 1920, reporting that they rented their home. Their daughter Margaret was listed as living with them.17
     Liva and Bruce were apparently divorced about 1921 as she married his brother Horace shortly after that. She married second Horace M. Welch, brother of her first husband about 1921.10,11,12
     Liva and Horace appeared on the 1930 Federal Census of Windham Twp., Wyoming Co., Pennsylvania, enumerated 10 Apr 1930, reporting that they were renting their home, for $5 per month and did not own a radio. Their children Bette, Horace and Mary were listed as living with them.18
     Liva and Horace appeared on the 1940 Federal Census of Shickshinny, Luzerne Co., Pennsylvania, enumerated 29 Apr 1940, reporting that they owned their home and had lived in the same house in 1935.      Liva died in Jun 1975 at age 76.13,14 She was buried in Summer Hill Cemetery, Columbia Co., Pennsylvania.15
