     Dante Elwyn Wiskerson was born on 5 Jan 1903 in Selma, Fresno Co., California.9,10,11
     He appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Selma, Fresno Co., California, in the household of his parents, Charles H. Wiskerson and Myrtle Essie Ludington.7
     He appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Kings Co., California, in the household of his parents. However, it appears his mother was not actually living there as his parents were in the midst of a very contested divorce suit. Eleven days later she was awarded $25 per month temporary alimony and he was ordered to pay costs and attorney fees.22,23 She appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Selma, Fresno Co., California, in the household of her parents, enumerated 10 Jan 1920.24
     He was employed at the Union Oil depot at Tulare at the time of his first marriage. He was a salesman at an oil company by 1930 in Tulare.25,26
     Dante married first Viola May Mattocks, daughter of Francis M. Mattocks and Bertha M. Traylor, on 4 Nov 1928, at her parents' home, with Rev. Logan of the First Baptist Church of Visalia officiating.12,13,14

     Dante married second Laura Bessie Massey, daughter of Robert Lee Massey and Laura Jane Bricker. She had previously been married to Arthur L. Brown.17
     He was a salesman at a wholesale grocery by 1950, reporting in the 1950 census he had not worked the prior week but was looking for work.35
     Dante and Laura appeared on the 1950 Federal Census of Richmond, Contra Costa Co., California, at 128 Castro, enumerated 15 Apr 1950, reporting they lived in a home that was not on a farm. Her 25-year-old son from her prior marriage, Lewis Brown, was listed as living with them.36
     His second wife died on 20 Aug 1968 in Napa Co., California.37,38
     Dante married third Valera Catherine Vaubel, daughter of Rev. Edward George Vaubel and Catherine Angelia Glabe, on 17 Dec 1972 in San Diego, California. She had previously been married to John Alonzo Corbin.18
     Dante died on 20 Aug 1994 in La Mesa, San Diego Co., California, at age 91.19,20 He was buried in El Camino Memorial Park, San Diego, San Diego Co., California.21
