     Huldah married William Cobb, son of Gideon Cobb and Abigail Dyer, on 22 Dec 1768 in Windham, Connecticut.4,5
     No evidence has been found of William and Huldah in Pawlet, Vermont, so it seems they did not move there with his parents and brothers. A 1907 family history reported that they lived in Windham Co., Connecticut, so perhaps they returned there from Stillwater, New York, if indeed his wife and children ever joined him in New York.6
     
Research Note, Feb 2022:
Huldah's parents are identified solely based on one, supposedly well-researched, source. No other record of them has been found. Several online trees claim, without documentation, that she was the daughter of Matthew Norton and Mary Daggett, born 16 Apr 1729 in Edgartown, Massachusetts. If that is correct, how she came to be married n Windham, Connecticut is a mystery. No evidence has been found that her parents or any if her siblings ever lived there. If she was their daughter, she apparently died before her father, in 1779, as she does not appear with her then-living siblings in his will.7,8

The names William and Sarah Cobb were not uncommon in the region. While a number of records with those name have been found, none other than their birth records are identifiable as William and Huldah's children.
