     12 Alice R. Cobb was born about 1837 in Indiana.6,7,8
     She moved to Ohio with her parents by 1840. She was probably one of the two females under age 5 listed in the household of her father, James Dyer Cobb, in the 1840 Federal Census of Dayton, Montgomery Co., Ohio.13
     She moved to Arkansas with her parents before 1847. She appeared on the 1850 Federal Census of Washington, Hempstead Co., Arkansas, in the household of her parents, James Dyer Cobb and Rachael Isaacs Jones.14,15
     Alice appeared with her father on the 1860 Federal Census of Saline Twp., Hempstead Co., Arkansas, in the household of William Crabtree and his family.16,17
     Alice married Dr. Nathan C. Neer, son of Jesse Neer and Matilda Kelb, on 18 Jul 1864 in Lafayette Co., Arkansas, with Rev. Julius A. Stanley offciating.9
     Alice apparently died before 1869, as her husband re-married 3 Feb 1869 and their daughter an unknown person was living with his parents in the 1870 census.10,11
