     Freeman Conder was born on 28 Nov 1876 in St. Louis Co., Missouri.7,8,9 He appeared on the 1880 Federal Census of Beaver Dam Twp., Butler Co., Missouri, in the household of Robert N. Hunt and Elizabeth [surname unknown], his mother's parents, along with his parents, James Conder and Sarah Hunt.1
     Freeman married first Bertha C. Weber, daughter of William L. Weber and Emilie Gapsch, on 1 Oct 1908 in Clayton, St. Louis Co., Missouri.10,11,12
     Freeman and Bertha appeared on the 1910 Federal Census of Bonhomme Twp., St. Louis Co., Missouri, at Marshall Rd., enumerated 23 Apr 1910, reporting that they rented their home. Their daughter Elsie was listed as living with them, as was his mother, Reinhold Dudeck.5
     Freeman and Bertha appeared on the 1920 Federal Census of Valley Park, St. Louis Co., Missouri, at Marshall Ave., enumerated 3 Jan 1920, reporting that they rented their home. Their children Elsie and William were listed as living with them.17
