     She arrived in New York with her parents, Edward W. Gapsch and Sophie Herfurt, on 23 Mar 1881, on the steamship Weser, having departed from the port of Bremen. They were shown on the passenger list as from Saxony, with a stated destination of St. Louis, and having traveled in steerage class.14,15,16
     Emilie married William L. Weber, son of Friedrich August Weber and Amalie Erdmuthe Patzschkes, on 29 Dec 1884 in St. Louis, St. Louis Co., Missouri, with Rev. Henry Walser officiating.10
     Emilie died on 28 Jan 1895 in St. Louis Co., Missouri, at age 28.11,12 She was buried on 31 Jan 1895 in New Pickers Cemetery, in the lot owned by her husband.13
